Restoration Ministries International (MRI) started in 1992 helping marriages that everyone said were hopeless, and He (God) RESTORED them. God also restores when there is adultery, or an adulterous marriage (where one or both partners have been unfaithful), which seems to be the only situation most agree is the most desperate that GOD is capable of. Better for me now

I suspected and believed I was close to restoration as soon as I started reading your RTM book and especially when I started taking the free courses. Being a “Stander,” I suffered a lot of setbacks and frustrations where things seemed to be going well, but then something would happen and I would fall apart every time. You see, my husband and I got along really well, even when he was living with the "other woman" CEO, we chatted and were pretty close. It happened for a reason: God had a plan!!

My spouse had moved out and was living with a coworker saying "I'm not happy and feel unwanted in our 20+ years of marriage!" After about six weeks of separation and in the process of getting divorced, I realized that divorce didn't have to be the answer. I decided to "fight the good fight." I was doing it alone with my prayers. Then a pastor friend across the country directed me to your website. I immediately ordered the book “Restore Your Marriage” and read it in a couple of days. Then I filled out your marriage assessment and was offered your free courses.

That's when I knew God would restore our marriage; it was only a matter of days before I started to see changes in myself and stopped to think about what I had done to change. I realized it wasn't me - it was God working in amazing ways! The changes came after I started realizing the things I had done wrong, prayed for God to change me, and prayed for our marriage. I had to turn everything over to God and trust Him completely.

Just as mentioned in the RTM book and Course 1 , I was tested when we spoke. I have heard this happen on several occasions where something hurtful would be said to see if I would react. I didn't react the way I would have in the past, which showed that I was a new person.

It was December 28th when my spouse showed up at the resort where I was staying with my family. I didn't expect it, and my spouse didn't know until 30 minutes before leaving our hometown for the resort that we would be RESTORED!

All I can say is to be sure to turn it all over to God. I found that so many things happened just like you said would happen in the RTM book . I followed what it said to do in all your courses, I read the scriptures and I prayed, and that's what got me through. At the end of the 90 days, God restored my marriage! Trust that the same will happen to you.

“If God brings you to it, He will take you through it.” All of this happened for a reason. God had a plan, and now my spouse and I are much happier. Miraculous restoration deep in the heart of Texas!

I discovered your ministry while searching for answers, coming across the website. It served to confirm to me what the Lord was inviting me to do... Don't get divorced, let yourself go and believe in your marriage. Your courses filled in the blanks! Thank you!

God changed me before He changed my situation. First I learned to become humble and keep my mouth shut. I have learned to lean on the Lord and only on the Lord! I also learned about the power of fasting. Immediately I started thinking about maybe praying again, but would he listen? Then, without hesitation, I got down on my knees and rededicated my life to the Lord, asking God to change me.

As I prayed, I made the decision to stay in our marriage and work it out, but I asked the Lord to give me "feelings" for my spouse again, otherwise I didn't see how it would work. I also prayed that He would change my spouse and bring my spouse back to the Lord.

Over the next few weeks, as I took your free courses, my hunger for the Lord grew insatiable. I started reading the Bible and finished it for the first time in my life. I surrendered my finances and began tithing as the Bible teaches, to my storehouse. In less than a month, my feelings for my spouse were back and I loved and was "in love" with my spouse! It was miraculous as I hadn't felt this way about my spouse since we first dated. I was just waiting and praying for the Lord to do the same to my spouse.

A few months later, not only did our marriage take a turn for the worse, but I finally discovered that there had been adultery, which had been going on for a while. I was stunned, shocked, empty, alone, crushed, and my heart and self-esteem were shattered.

Praise God, while it was excruciatingly painful, I came out refined, pure and anointed! The entire storm lasted more than a year and a half. Keep in mind that your test is, in reality, a lifetime.

Early on, I had Christian counselors who advised me to divorce my spouse…can you believe it? Wow, they need your books to learn that only God can restore an impossible situation!! He brought something that was dead back to life!! It's been almost two years since my spouse moved back home for good. It definitely took at least a full year to heal and overcome the damage done, but it is worth a new marriage in Christ and breaking the curse of divorce that has been rampant in both of our families. None of us could be happier in our marriage.

My spouse tells me every day "I love you and miss you when I'm at work!" I praise God for everything he taught me during my trial and now what seemed like a curse was truly a masterpiece of blessing from the Lord. He makes all things new!!

Restored after walking THROUGH fire!

What an amazing journey! My marriage has been restored for over 15 YEARS. My journey began when my husband and I were trying to get a divorce for the second time. I was fed up and determined to continue my walk with God with or without my husband. I was convinced that the problem was just my husband and I was the "good" wife, and I was fed up with my husband's infidelity. I tried everything, but everything failed. Impossibly restored (by God alone) and more!

After three years with Restoration Ministries as a member, my husband has not only returned home to our children, but has also been saved and baptized and is now growing by leaps and bounds in his faith!! We are both renewed and restored, thank God!

My restoration journey began when I realized my husband was building a parallel life. Now that you have found the narrow door, will you walk through it and gain the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that you (and almost everyone) lack? Are you willing to let go of the lies and myths and renew your mind with what God says about marriage AND how HE can RESTORE IT?

Our objective is simply "preach the word, insist on every favorable and unfavorable occasion, convince, rebuke, exhort with every kind of teaching and patience. For the time will come when they will no longer endure sound doctrine, but, for itching to hear, they will seek teachers in great numbers according to their own desires, and they will turn away their ears from the truth and turn to fables." 2 Timothy 4:2-4

God said that your marriage crisis occurred because "my people are perishing for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject... because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget the your sons". Hosea 4:6

Many people marvel that I have been able to overcome so many intense trials in my life, and not just make it through , but face them with joy .

I must admit that, in myself, I could not have overcome my first major crisis when I discovered my husband's adultery and disappearance for months, only to divorce me. Along with all the pain and fear that came with it, I also had to put up with well-meaning people telling me what I needed to do, which made my situation much worse.

If it weren't for my intimate relationship with my Savior, who I first discovered was truly there for me, I know I never would have made it.

Are you looking for a "peace" that surpasses ALL understanding?

When my husband left me for the other woman, I was already a Christian. But I never truly made Him the LORD of my life. Each of us who have experienced restored marriages will honestly tell you that every time we have gone through some of the worst experiences of our lives (crises that would ultimately destroy most), each of us has had a peace that has surpassed all understanding! And the more of God you have, the more you will shine and ultimately benefit from the kind of crises that break most people.

The exciting thing is that when people find out what you've been through (especially in the midst of crisis) they won't believe how you have such a calm spirit and joyful exterior and, when necessary, forgiveness!

Once you truly experience HIS forgiveness, you will find that He will help you FORGIVE all those who have hurt or offended you! Forgiveness will lift your burdens and heal your troubled soul.

Maybe there have been times when you've thought about praying, but you just didn't know how. Believe it or not, the best prayer is to simply talk to God. He doesn't really want formal, flowery prayers. He just LOVES having an honest conversation with you.

SO STOP NOW.

• • Simply tell God in your own words that you need Him, right now to help you. And if you don't really know if God exists, then ask God to make himself real to you.

 

• • Right now, give the LORD your life, a life that is messed up. A life full of pain and confusion, and ask Him to make everything NEW! Give him your heart, and then start experiencing the LOVE of him that is so real and full of compassion that you will finally find JOY, something no one can ever take away from you!

 

"Do not be surprised if I said to you, 'You must be born again.'" Jesus answered him and said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:7

If you stopped and gave your messed up life to the Lord, then from this moment on your future will soon begin to look NEW, you will look NEW, as if you were BORN again!

You have no earthly idea how much God loves you, and how much the LORD DESIRES this moment, to have you as HIS.

"Therefore the LORD will wait to be gracious to you, then he will be exalted because he had compassion on you, for the LORD is a GOD of righteousness. Blessed are all who hope in him." Isaiah 30:18

Isn't it amazing how our lives are so busy and full of people and things that keep us from realizing that the LORD has been waiting right there waiting to help us? This is the ONLY reason God has allowed this crisis (and every crisis) in our lives. It often takes a crisis to get to the point where we begin to truly need Him and are willing to give up trying and finally give everything to Him.

NOW, EVERY time you find yourself needing help, needing love, needing direction when making every single decision, talk to the LORD. Nobody else.

“Cast your lot in the LORD, and trust in him, and he will work.” Psalms 37:5

If you stop and give your problems (big and small) to the Lord, I promise you that He will come to your aid and rescue you or guide you through it. You will no longer need to rely on your own understanding or make a plan. From now on you can just give it to HIM so that he can show you how much he loves you and cares for you by guiding you or even carrying you through every crisis!

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

Not knowing what to do when a crisis comes, not knowing that HE is who you need to run to, is what will make you doubt whether God truly loves you and wants to guide you AND will make you turn back or stay in crisis.

Even if you are desperate for someone, a “real” person to help you, there is ONLY ONE WAY and one person who can lead you out of the “valley of the shadow of death”.

There is only one who understands exactly what is happening, on both sides, and is able to ignite the hearts of everyone involved.

We who have experienced a restored marriage know without a shadow of a doubt that you do NOT need anyone but the Lord to guide you through and out of your crisis.

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your staff and your staff are those who comfort me." Psalms 23:4

It's time to LET GO of everything and everyone AND take the hand of the Lord, allowing Him to guide you personally.

Let Him speak to you and learn to speak only to Him.

Take His hand and journey through renewing your mind with what He says, rebuilding your life with His plans, and watch as HE restores everything!!

Unlike the common notion that “consulting” is the solution, we do NOT offer what is proven NOT to work. Christian counseling and psychology actually pushed my marriage from crisis to complete destruction. Like the hundreds of men and women who found their way to us, counseling didn't help them either, but ultimately completely destroyed what little was left of their marriages.
